Baby Maddie

This was such a fun shoot. We originally had planned for me to come at 8 am to do this shoot, but I wasn't quite prepared and had a couple last minute stops to make. It turned out perfectly. I wish I had more time so I could have shot a ton more, but these were some of the best I got. There are lots more, but couldn't fill up on this 1 page. Enjoy. LANDEN'S 9th Birthday Party

So, we had Landen's Birthday party tricked out Halloween style. I am actually quite proud of my decorations that I did!! I think they look so great I will keep them up until halloween. We decided to buy tons of cob webs and now I have lots left over!!

So, things went well. We did not end up with any blue frosting on my couch or carpet so I would have to say that it went pretty darn well!! A big thanks to Staci and Sonia. Staci, put together the food and all the games plus the pinata and my bestest friend Sonia is always my saving Grace. I love that girl. She has always been there for me and there to support my kids in any of their activities!! Even if it means canceling a hot date just to be there!! LOL

SO...what would it be like.....

TO have a little baby girl????

So I was home all day and making crafts. Having to get orders out the door is a nightmare, however, I was working on one particular gift for my friend Jacque's brand new baby. I made a journal and then made the cutest headband w/ a flower. So Krew woke up and when he comes around my crafts, he starts scoping stuff out to see what he can get in to. Well, he then starts pointing at the counter where this beautiful headband is and keeps signing to me more more more more more. I am like lost at this point trying to figure out what more he wants of what!!!! So, then he starts grunting and getting frustrated with me because I am not giving him what he wants and I start picking stuff up to see if that what he is asking for. After I go through about 40 different toys the freaking headband was the last thing up there. So, when I grab it, he starts freaking out overly excited and it totally brings back the memory I had at work earlier of my friend Sara's blog and seeing photos of her twins with these headbands on. I thought oh, well maybe he wants to try it on and see what it's like. LOL I thought well I will take a few shots just to see what a little olson baby "girl" would look like. At this point Sara's story she told me at work start flustering through my brain and how pissed her husband was that she posted them on her blog. So Adam gets home right as I am uploading the pictures and I tried so hard to hide them as I am laughing and crying at the same time because they are so freaking cute and hilarious. Oh my, Jason (that's Sara's husband) and Adam must have had a conversation about it because it was like de je vu all over again hearing her story. Sorry, babe you can hate me now, but love me later when we don't have that precious little angel of yours and can always look back at these and think. He is such a handsome boy but makes a darling little girl. HAHAHAHAHA!!

CAMPING TRIP 2009

We decided to try camping with Krew for the first time this weekend!! So, on Thursday at work, Sonia asks if we would want to do something spur of the moment and go camping. I thought, "what a great idea" it's cheap, and we can really feel like we went on a mini vaca!! We planned it all out and decided to leave around noon on Friday!! Yeah, who thought there was so much involved in getting ready. We ended up heading out at 4 p.m.

We get camp set up and start our evening with eating tin foil dinners. Of course I was a stress case the whole night and I gotta thank my girl!! She is always good at reminding me in the most loving ways!!! LOL

Nina: (as I am in the tent almost in tears because Krew is tired but won't go to sleep. I hurry and put him in his PJ's as Adam is patiently waiting for me to give krew some milk).

Sonia: Girl it's ok, just relax.

Nina: I know I can't until Krew is in bed, it's so stressful.

Sonia: (30 min later as I am still stressed and in the tent) Nina, should we just head back home!!!!!

Nina: (breathing and thinking Ok Nina just chill out or you will never go camping with friends again).

Thank heavens for friends that understand me!! Next time I will make sure to just let my kids get dirty, IT'S camping right!! That's the point!! We had the most delicious smores!! They are my special secret!! Nina's smores are the best!!

So, I didn't get any sleep because we got some late nighters that decided to set up camp at midnight. We thought we were going to get eaten by bears!! LOL. Krew was freezing and awake at 130 am so I tucked him in bed next to me to warm up and he fell right to sleep. I finally dozed off when the sun was coming up but our neighbors kids decided to wake all of Christopher creek up at 6 am.

So I got up started getting things ready to make breakfast burritos, realized the eggs were frozen and ate donuts instead. My hubby was a trooper making burritos for everyone. We then packed up and headed out to the creek before we came home. The kids caught crawdads and we went on a mini hike through the woods to a swimming well where kids were catching lobster size crawdads!! So much fun!! DQ was our treat on our way home!! I loved my weekend, and the people we spent it with!! Thanks girls for another fun weekend!!

CAN WE SAY FOREVER!!!

I know it's been forever since I have posted anything!!  We just took a much needed vacation to Cali and it was as hot as it is here so it wasn't much of a vacation.  I have decided until I get the "honeymoon I never had" with no kids only my husband, I am not doing vacations!!!  Anyways,  Lots of happy news:  

Krew is getting big, walking everywhere and pulling attitude!!  Gotta love it.  

I found a new job that I love and wouldn't change it for almost anything.  

Really, not too many exciting things happening right now.  Here are some cute pictures of my little guy.  My awesome boss lent me his camera to shoot these with.  I think I am now a cannon lover!!  FOR SURE!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM!!

Adam's birthday was yesterday and we had lots of fun.  He had to go to Tucson for the day for work and Landen spent the night so we decided to go to Wal-mart and pick out his favorite candy and make him a candy gram.  That's what Landen wanted to do for his birthday.  This is what he came up with.  I couldn't help but laugh my head off.    You may not be able to ready the whole thing but it was hilarious.  Our friends had us over for a BBQ at their house and we ended up back home with Danny and Mel and watched August Rush.  It was a very mellow Friday but very nice!  Thanks Mel and Danny for your kindness Adam loves Red Robin.

So, we also had lots of fun with Krew on Daddy's birthday!!  He is getting so smart and has the cutest personality.  So, we were trying to teach him to smile when he sees the camera so we can take some cute pictures.  Well, this is what his personality told him to do every time he sees the camera.  Now we can't get him to smile.  HAHA.  I seriously almost peed my pants because they are so freaking cute and so funny..

WHAT'S UP??

I have been such a slacker.  This week I have been just taking it easy.  Dr's found kidney stones.  So, I get to wait until I pee them out!!  OUCH.  

I finally got my hair done. Of course Adam can't try to take a serious picture anymore. 

Krew started swimming lessons.  YEAH!!!  He also is doing sippy cup 100% no more baba!!

He had his 1 year check today here are the stats:

Weight: 20.4  10%

Height: 31 in. 90%

Head: 47 3/4cm 90%

So so big.  He has taken his first couple steps but he gets a little scared and cowls down.  

Here are pictures from his first day at swim.  He now sits on the edge falls in and turns around, reaches for the ledge and monkey walks to the steps!  They learn so fast.
