Ok so Landen was in Cali with his dad all week, so Friday night I took my husband to babys r us to see what we could find. Now I dont know if any of you remember me talking about the crib set i originally wanted but they said no one could order it until june. Well sneeky as I am I had them look to see if it can be ordered. LO AND BEHOLD they had 173 available to order. I was sosososo mad, so I called the Scottsdale location and told them how I felt I was treated unfair and they need to make it right. She told me she would do that and we need to bring in the crib and we can get it all worked out. So, we come home break apart the crib and get it back in the the box as if it's never been touched. We drive to the store and Adam unloaded it and i was dealing with the girls and paperwork blah blah blah. So the check out girl totally tried to jip us!! OUr crib returned was 1735.00 and the one we wanted was 1567.00 but they didnt fibe us our 20% discount they promised and when I said something, she told me that she gave us credit for the processing fee!! (It was only 29.99) WHAT, I FLEW OFF THE HANDLE. SHE TRIED SAYING WE STILL OWED $700.00 I WAS LIKE YEAH NO THAT'S NOT OK, THIS IS WHAT IT SHOULD BE!! So after all was said and done we got a gift card of 220.00, So we go to the strollers and bought the stroller
car seat combo from baby trend. It s orange and I love it. So, we realized that we have the most georgeous nursery for the baby and now we have to get it all together and painted before the furniture comes.. Any sugestions!!! I need loottts of paint swatches but i am out of ideas.
Ok so now the dresser but its a burghandy color, they didnt have a picture online!!! and one more dresser but I cant find it either, it looks great together.
SO OK AFTER ALL THAT!! I AM FINALLY GETTING MY DREAM NURSERY! ON top of that we were able to get a stroller and 4 more outfits. Heaven. I went to another place and got my glider seriously the best most comfortable reclining glider ever. I got if from this place on gilbert and baseline called room 4 baby. The owner helped with this decision. It was a great buy. I even got landen the cutest little sign from Preston. It says
"Brother, will you teach me to play hid-ns-eek, show me how to shoot hoops, teach me to skip rocks on the water and alway be my friend... So cute I cried!!! That's all for now!!

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS
Ok, so I am trying to put together my portfolio. As most of you who know me, I have been a make-up artist for a little while but just did it for fun. I freelanced for MAC for a while and loved it. I have been asked to do a couple of weddings this year and a photoshoot. I want to get a portfolio together, so I want to get about 3-5 girls to do up and take pictures. If anyone has a special event coming up, you can inquire with me for pricing. Please let me know if you are interested in a FREE do up for fun so I can take some pictures and get my portfolio started. I have a few photos already, but they are from a few years ago. Email me at ninaolson@gmail.com THANKS!!

IS IT JUNE 11TH YET?
Ok, I am going crazy. I now remember what it's like to be pregnant. NOT FUN!! So, last night was my official night to get NO sleep. I didn't fall asleep until 3:30 A.M. and had to be up by 6 to get ready for work. P would not stop kicking all night long. I am frustrated. What can I do? HELP!! It doesn't help that my husband has to have our little yorkie sleep right in the middle and she cuddles up to me and it drives me nuts. I don't know about everyone else, but when I sleep, I have to have my space. I can actually fall asleep with my hubby cuddling me, but if he tries in the middle of the night forget it, I go crazy and whale my arms and legs around like I am a 5 year old throwing a tantrum. Last night was by far the worst night to date. I will post a new belly picture soon, so you can all see what I mean. I am sick of this belly getting in the way of everything. Oh yeah and I officially started wadling. I look like a freaking penguin walking down the sidewalk. My sweet husband has been so good about re assuring me that I am pregnant and everything will change after I have the baby, but still I am convinced June 11th will never come.

P is sporting MJ

So my wife is making me type this blog by myself. She had to get me here and upload the picture, but she is making me type. So, everyone that knows me, knows my obsession for MJ. I own probably 25 pairs of shoes and 3 jump suits. So, I wanted to share with everyone that little P is going to be sporting MJ like Dad. Thanks to my mother-in-law who is always thinking about my taste and ignoring the spiking comments my wife makes. Well, I have to thank my wife as well because she is ok with letting little P possibly get into this sport that I love so much.

MY BABY SHOWER

OK!! So, my sister in law taught me how to do this so here is my first attempt. These pictures are from my baby shower last Saturday. Some of them didn't turn out so clear THANKS SARINAH. LOL! JUST KIDDING!! Anyhow, Sarinah and Staci did a fabulous job at hosting this fun day. So, when I got there I saw all the goodies that were prepared by Sarinah she made the cute cookies that are shapes of onesies and bottles. They were so stinking cute. Then she made this cake out of diapers, wash clothes, binkis and a bottle. How cute is that!! So crafty I must say. We played some fun but kind of gross games. As you can see from the pictures, we melted chocolate bars in diapers and they had to guess which chocolate bars they were. So, I couldn't play because I did a practice run and got every one right. Guess I need to stay away from those chocolate bars. I got some pretty cool stuff. I got a soother, diapers, clothes, a cool wood block from Sarinah that has P's name on it in our nursery colors. I got some things for the car and of course our nursery furniture from Ken and Nona. Thanks to everyone for coming to support!!

BIRTHING CLASS IS A NO GO!!
So, I went to my birthing class, yeah the teacher was wako. After thinking about it, I don't think I will do it. If I do, I bought the book and all the fun handouts so I have a friend that has done this twice who also offered to help me understand it a bit better and teach me some tecniques. I just don't know that I am the type of person to concentrate on something when I am in pain. We will see, it was a good experience but a wako teacher!! She needs to teach yoga or something.

UPDATE ON LORI:
We spoke to Lori this evening, she is hanging in there. She has been taken off IV meds and is now on oral meds. Tomorrow is her big day and she gets to go home. It was funny because when we talked to her, Adam asked her if she was sick of the hospital food and she said that the longer she is there, the better the food gets. LOL! I know how that is, when I was in the hospital I felt the same way. She is happy to be able to return home. We are glad to hear she is hanging in there. We look forward to visiting her and the rest of the Widerberg family later this month.

BIRTHING CLASS!!
Ok, so I need some tips on this one.. I am going to try to do this pregnancy the natural way. I am going to a hypnobirthing class this Wednesday and am scared to death. Has anyone ever done this before? I can deal with pain pretty well but I feel like I am in for a big surprise. I have a friend who did hypno birthing and she went through it twice and said it was super easy and the best thing she has ever done. The thing I am freaked out about is that what if something goes wrong at the last minute and they have to do a c-section and can't numb me all the way and I feel them slicing into me. I don't even know what to think so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, any good pediatricians down here in AZ?
