Simplify Supper

So, this is what happens when you blog hop. You find a million cool other things and you just have to tell everyone about them. So, I was literally on this website for an hour and wow does it provide some good recipies, you can even pick what you want, it tells you what meals to plan for the month and gives you a shopping list. I love things like this. It makes my chaotic life a little easier. The problem is, I use to love cooking and now I HATE IT!! WHY you must ask!! Well, just ask Adam's mom. She will tell you he is by far the pickiest eater in the whole world. My mom thought I was picky until she met him. Now everytime we go over for dinner, she doesn't even ask anymore what we want, she just makes lasagna because she knows she can't go wrong with that. It's Adam's favorite. Which by the way I got tagged again with "HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER." I will post that another day, but for now!! Yeah for me. I love making them it's so fun but so time consuming. I also lost some posts I made but at least they werent pictures this time!! I am going out of town tomorrow for a day so I will post some fun pics of my trip.

KREW....FIRST TRUE LAUGH

So, this was by far the funniest day we have had with our little guy. He is getting the cutest little personality. We had a bunch of friends and family over and they were all here to see this for the first time. He was sitting in my lap and I was so tired I stretched my arms above my head and they came crashing down. THAT'S WHEN I HEARD IT! I thought I scared him at first until I realized it was a laugh and made Adam grab the camera to shoot it. So, there are tons of people laughing in the backround so I hope you can hear him.

THE HILLS SEASON 4

So, the hills premiere came on tonight!!! OMG I have been waiting for this night for like 4 months. I can't wait to see more. I feel like they don't show enough I wish it was an hour long. Dang it. Oh I have never been so excited. You have to see for yourself to know what I mean. I am overly addicted!!!!

KREW... POST SHOTS!!

So after he had his shots, we brought him home and he went down for a nap from 11:30 until about 3:30pm woke up so sad and cranky, we fed him, gave him tylenol and a bath and back down he went at 5:30pm. Slept until about 4:45am and was wide awake and ready to play. I was so happy to see he was kind of back to normal again. I just felt so bad for him from the mouth sores to having to get shots. Poor guy. However, the last couple days he has been super super awnry around nap and bed time. IS THIS NORMAL. He will play for about an hour, then he starts fussing and will cry and cry until he falls asleep. I don't know if he is being spoiled or if he is still hurting a tiny bit, but last night was the worst. He cried for about 2 hours until he finally fell asleep. Here are some recent pictures of him. The 1st is a mixture of pics, just random ones and we caught him with his thumb, he has discovered his thumb so now he refuses to take a pacifier. the other 4 in the first picture at the bottom are from 5 am when he was finally happy and the 2nd is our first day in our new ward at church. We only made it through sunday school. He was not a happy guy. Our church is from 2-5 so, it cuts into his napping. He is growing up so fast. I can't believe this Friday will be 3 months!!!

Cooper, Riley and Oakley

I have had some requests to post recent pics of Jerzi's pups. Here they are. In the first picture upper left is Riley and in the back is Oakley. Next is Cooper. Below it goes Oakley, Riley then Cooper. The only way we can tell them apart is of course Cooper is Mr. fatty. Then oakley has more brown color on his face and brows then Riley. They are growing so fast. Jerzi is still doing great at the whole nursing thing. The breeder said they usually try to stop around 3-4 weeks, but they are at 3 weeks and she is still super overprotective. They are walking around and starting to play alot. Cooper is the trouble maker, he tries to get the others to play and if they don't he will growl and bark at them. Riley is the next big trouble maker and of course our Oakley is as quiet as can be. He loves to cuddle. I can't wait for another week. That's when we get to introduce them to toys and oh it's going to be so fun to finally see more of their personalities. We did have a scare though. Adam (as much as I love him, sometimes he doesn't think) decided to take the bed away and let the puppies have free reign of the cage so they could be next to Jerzi 100% of the time. Well, he left to work and I was upstairs getting ready and heard Jerzi yelping. K most of you who know our dog, she never makes a sound, she doesn't even bark so I knew something was wrong. So, I rushed downstairs to see cooper head first in the water. Holy cow, I grabbed him and flipped him over and could tell he was struggling a bit, it's a good thing I am CPR certified and learned how to give mouth to mouth to doggies too. So, I did and as soon as I blew in his nose, he choked out the water and was ok!! Oh my you have no idea the piece of mind I gave my husband. That's so scary.

MY POOR LITTLE MAN!!

Ok Wednesday night my mom watched Krew for us and she called to tell us she thought he either had an ear ache or is teething. Adam and I got him home and all he did was cry until about 10, then he finally fell asleep. Thursday came and after taking Aimee to the airport, he was crying uncontrollably and I finally called my Dr. She recommended for us to take him to the after hours facility at Superstition mall. So, we get there and when the Dr. comes in we kind of tell her what has been going on and that he is drooling alot but no fever and we think he is teething. She does her exam and when she starts looking around in his mouth she finds 2 huge sores on his upper gums. She said it was a viral infection and they are kind of like cankers. We could not even believe it. I of course was freaking out because I couldn't figure out how he would get them so we asked. She said it could be from other kids putting their fingers in his mouth or sucking on his pacifiers and then giving them to him without washing them. Oh my gosh I freaked because we caught my brothers youngest daughter doing that and of course we stopped her right away and washed it, but didn't think to sterilize the rest of them, so basically that's the jest of it. So, when landen was born, I basically created this bubble and would not let a single person touch him without washing their hands. I wouldnt even let Charley's youngest sister hold him until he was like 6 months old. Then Adam made me feel guilty by saying that's mean and we can't do that with Krew. AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS, no more listening to that. I am going into bubble mode again. Our date nights are now on hold and no one is going to be allowed to even touch him without sanitizing their hands first.

Well, we took him for his regular Dr. visit today and she confirmed it's a viral infection and agreed with me about the whole living in a bubble thing. She says she sees nothing wrong with keeping your child sheltered and in his own little bubble till he is older. So, at his check, he weighs 12 lbs, 8 oz, is 24 inches long. He is in the 75th percentile, so he is healthy.

So so so sad, he got 4 shots!! Not good at all he cried and cried and cried and all I could do was hold him. I felt so bad. Even when he woke up from his nap he was miserable!! I hate shots. He slept the whole way home and for an additional 3 hours but he is just miserable. Here are some pics of him on the way home from the Doctor.

Well I am oficially sad that Aimee is gone. It makes me realize how grateful I am to have her in my life and how lucky I am to have such a wonderful BEST FRIEND. Seriously, this was the most fun I have ever had with girls and I met a new friend too that I know will for surely become close to me. I met Aimee Monday night at BJ's in Chandler. That's where I met Mandi. We ate dinner and headed off to mi casa. Aimee and I talked most of the night as she got settled in. Tuesday we got up and in the afternoon sometime we took Krew to get his pictures taken and we waited for 30 min, so obviously he wasn't in a good mood anymore so we left and went and ate at Cafe rio. We decided to call it a night and went home and watched Step up 2. Definately not her type of movie, but I only wanted her to see Moose!! so hot..... Anyhow, wednesday came and she went to lunch with Mandi and when she got home, I decided to take her to Nielsens frozen custard (not original because they have one in Utah however, she did try Mesa frozen yogurt and loved it) and of course they totally screwed up my order. I get so heated and I swear Aimee knows just what to say to calm me down. "CALM DOWN NINA, IT'S ONLY ICE CREAM" haha I need that reminder every once in a while!! So, Wednesday night was our big night. Adam wanted to go somewhere that had shuffle board (and I love that game and am the best at it, so if anyone thinks they could beat me I dare you to step up!!) so we made plans to all meet at Zipps sports bar and grill. We dropped Krew off with Grandma (thanks mom) and headed out!! I have never had so much fun in my life, Adam even had fun. I want our date nights there every friday night!! I kicked his butt at shuffle board. Anyways, us girls could not stop having Adam and Kristian take pictures of us!! I am talking all kinds of pictures!! See for yourself!!

Well before Aimee left she got me this book from M.I.L.K called Friendship and I just have to leave everyone with some FRIENDSHIP QUOTES that remind me the most of her, she is seriously the true meaning of BEST FRIEND and I am so sad she is gone already. It went by way too fast!! I love you so much!!

LANDEN'S 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL

Not much to say about his day, but it was a good day!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHLEY!!

Today is my good friend Ashley's birthday!! See, I am getting a tiny bit better at this!! Anyhow, Ash I hope you have a great day today. It's amazing to think we have been friends for 6 years now and I am constantley thinking of all the fun we had in Arizona, like our Dr pepper shots, your obsession with baby bash!! And our frequent trips to Rosa's. I love you and hope you have a wonderful birthday. I wish I was there cause you know I would throw a big party make Adam be the stripper I hire for you, except he wouldn't be taking off his clothes, just the dancing part...LOL I can't wait to see you this month and meet those beautiful kiddos!!

CAN ANYONE GUESS WHAT THE PICTURE MEANS????

YEP THAT'S RIGHT EMPTY CAR!! NO BABY!! Well we decided it's time to start our regular Friday night date nights again. Since my mom is here and right down the street and also we use to trade off with Charley and Staci, so now we decided to do it again. They will watch Krew and Landen every friday night and we will take Landen and Demi on Saturdays. Last night my mom really wanted to spend some time with Krew and Landen wanted a sleepover with Dallin, so we dropped off the boys around 6ish and headed out.

We went to dinner at the Seafood Market Restaurant and I am pretty sure you can all guess which dinner was mine. I'll give you a clue!! I am on the P90X diet, so just one guess!!! Anyhow, it was really good. Then, we decided to hit Mesa Frozen Yogurt so I could have my 4 oz of FAT FREE yogurt. We had so much fun!! Of course we couldn't wait to get back to our little guy, but all in all it was a first great 1st date!! Thanks mom for tackling the job of not one, not two, but three boys!!

QUICK UPDATE ON THE PUPS!!

Ok so the pups are getting huge, there is a huge one and the other 2 are the same size. So in the picture with their faces it goes- Riley, Cooper and Oakley. This is not set in stone yet, but we will have to see their personalities, for sure Riley is the 1st on though!! Staci already picked him out!! We are in love with the smaller one because he loves to cuddle and is super quiet, plus Jerzi was the smallest and quietest too, but she was the most playful when she was older, so like I said we have to see which of the 2 are more playful!! Anyhow, we took them last week to get their tails docked and their dew claws removed and oh my hek, Jerzi had to stay in the waiting room with us and Adam had to basically restrain her down because she was freaking out that her babies were gone and she could hear them crying!! I wonder what she will do when they leave us!! They should be opening their eyes any day now so we will continue taking more pics as they grow up!! I think Riley will stay black and Cooper and Oakley will turn the blonde/silver color like their mama.

10 WEEKS OLD

Krew loves Oakley!! We kind of picked out which doggie we want, however, we are still kind of up in the air because we really want to see their personalities in about 4 weeks!! So far we are going off which one is the quietest and cuddliest!!

Mr. Smiley!! He is growing so fast!! He has been smiling for about 3 1/2 weeks when we were in Utah. He recognizes me daddy and Landen too!! Landen was making him smile in these pictures. He even does this cute little laugh but of course it's not consistent!! He still sleeps through the night and has since he was about 3 weeks old!! He is just perfect. He hates his pacifier, I guess that is a good thing for the future but bad for now because when we try to give it to him when he get tired, he throws his head back whales and sticks his tounge out and won't put it back in his mouth until we stop trying to give it to him. I love playing with him it's so much fun!!

Happy birthday Janelle. I know your birthday was on Saturday and I promise I thought about you, but we were so busy moving into our new house by ourselves with no help from friends that gave us their word, except Danny thanks Danny you rock!! Sorry, anyways- We are so bad at the whole birthday thing and that was one thing I wanted to get better at, but so far I have not improved with that. Well, here are a few reasons why I love you so much!!
